I have a hard job being mom/teacher. Music teacher, that is. I get the luxury of front row seats without ever buying a ticket. I have the power to make my daughter center stage just so I can make sure I see my child. I always know when and where the concerts are. The only thing I miss is being able to sit back and enjoy the show. Being the director, I can't whisper to the person beside me, "That's my daughter." I do get the free DVD, and I get it before anyone else. There are the ups and downs about being a mom/music teacher.. mostly ups...but I think everyone can tell, that's my daughter.
